Go Mobile! With Microsoft Office 'Mobile'

No matter how attractive, user friendly or exciting the Android or iOS be, mostly all the users would agree that they miss one app which they use frequently on their desktops or laptops to create and manage their documents – Microsoft Office. It has become a necessity for anyone who uses a computer. The wide use of mobiles for personal and professional purposes has led to a new demand in the market for a good mobile app for documentation. And, as usual, Microsoft has caught the right nerve and has decided to launch its MS Office mobile application for users.

Microsoft Office

One of the first applications to be installed on any device is a good editing and documentation tool. But, unfortunately, we don’t have many good apps available for this purpose. Some would have a bad interface and others might not be user friendly or might not allow you to edit the documents. In such a case, what could be better than Microsoft Office itself! We would have something very familiar, something that we use on day-to-day basis and something that has almost all that we need on our mobiles for maintaining our documents or data.

The only reason for such a popularity of MS Office is the wide user base, and it is a reason enough to make it an instant hit in the mobile market. The moment it enters the market, it would be the first thing that people would install on their iPhones, iPads and Android devices.

This is going to be one of the best apps to enter the mobile industry. Apart from the individual users, it would be a very useful mobile app development for business users as well, who might have been waiting for this news for a long time. In the days where time is everything, a powerful tool for documentation is all that a mobile user needs.

Office
Microsoft has announced the release of MS Office Mobile in early next year. It would be accessible by iOS and Android users from around March 2013, allowing the mobile users to access and edit their documents on the go. The users would just have to have a Microsoft account to enable basic functionality of Office Mobile app. It would provide support for MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. But if you want to edit the documents you would have to purchase Office 365 subscription.

Experts and people from different domains are speculating the actual release dates and are claiming it to be released any time between February to May 2013. However, it might so happen that the Android users could be the last ones to get access to this wonderful app – something that might disappoint them a little.

After this release, MS Office would be available as a Windows, iOS and Android based application. We believe, quite a few of us have been waiting for this mobile app for some time and would follow the news closely to get our hands on it as soon as it enters the market. We would surely keep an eye on it and would inform our readers once we get to know any new developments on this in the coming few days.
